David Marshall
I grew up in Cambuslang, Glasgow, and grew up in a single-parent household where I am the primary carer for my disabled mother. This responsibility taught me resilience, empathy, and independence from a young age. I attended a high school where many of my peers did not go on to further education, but I always knew that I had my own path to follow. Though I never had the opportunity to pursue acting when I was younger, my passion for film and television has always been strong. This passion truly ignited around 2020, and since then, I have dedicated myself to pursuing a career in acting. I’ve worked in a variety of jobs since I was 18, each offering me valuable life experience. I was once introverted, but over the years, I have grown into someone who thrives in social situations and enjoys connecting with others—skills that have translated well into my acting journey. In addition to acting, I enjoy volunteering with Glasgow Street Aid, which has deepened my sense of community and social awareness. I also enjoy creative writing, which allows me to further explore storytelling and character development in new ways. These hobbies help me stay grounded and continuously inspired. I bring my diverse background, passion for the craft, and life experience into every role I take on, embracing the opportunity to connect with audiences and make a meaningful impact through my performances.
